I intended to purchase one of the many inexpensive sets (hence the Caliart) but after seeing so many positive reviews of the Artists Loft purchased those as well to compare. Bottom line: the Artists Loft are more watercolor pens than markers like the Tombows, but all that does, I feel, is add a subtle and pretty gradient to my lettering.
