When God is really saying to wait, it will be for your good. For as Isaiah 40:30-31 states, “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
Why does God say not yet?
If He said “not yet”, He is delaying whatever it is (that job, that man, that baby) for a reason. Please don’t think that as you’re waiting and trusting that you’re supposed to be idle. You still have a responsibility. Just because God told you “not yet” doesn’t give you permission to veer off path or be lazy.
