How do you make clouds science project?
Instructions
- Pour 1 cup of hot boiling water into a glass jar.
- Quickly spray hairspray into the jar.
- Immediately put the lid onto the jar.
- Place a 3-5 pieces of ice on top of the lid of the jar.
- Watch the top of the jar carefully and you will see a cloud begin to form.
What happens if you touch a cloud?
It’s the same with water droplets. Although we can see clouds, if you were to try to touch one your hand would go straight through it. This is because the water droplets are very very small, like the water in steam. If a cloud has formed especially high up these droplets might fall as snow or hail instead.
Can you drown while skydiving?
If I was skydiving and fell through a cloud with my mouth open, could I drown? Having done a few jumps that involved freefalling through clouds, the answer should be obvious — I didn’t drown. Understand, you’re not actually falling through “water” in the liquid sense. It’s more like you’re falling through fog.

Turbulence can be frightening. However, the reality is that turbulence is no cause for concern! It’s a common part of flying that many people experience each day. Even when it’s at its most severe, turbulence is rarely dangerous.
