Lydia. Lydia is a better follower, so you’re better off marrying her for a portable store/lover’s comfort. If you don’t intend to have either of them follow you, then it really doesn’t matter.

How do I place Lydia at me?

Console command player. moveto 000A2C94 (Lydia’s ref id) will teleport the player to the NPC’s current location. Or you could use the command prid 000A2C94, hit enter and then type moveto. player and Lydia will appear by the player.

Followers don’t go to Sovngarde, or even Skuldafn, because you ride a dragon there alone. You can summon stuff, but a follower won’t go there with you. No followers allowed for the final battle, but you do get support in Sovngarde.

Can’t kill alduin throat of the world?

  1. You can’t kill alduin the first time you fight him, you just beat him up and he flies off..
  2. To defeat Alduin, you need to use the Dragonrend shout, which will force him to land.
  3. You cannot kill Parthanax or Alduin but when you start to beat up on Alduin he will fly off and leave you.
